3D models for the visual applications work with real-time scene imaging, that includes the military simulators visual systems, the synthetic battle-space visualization and the civilian applications. The model construction is optimized to minimize the polygon number, but preserving maximum of the visualized details, that supports generation of the realistic scenes, still having low requirements on the system performance.

Preserving details in the model construction is important e.g. for unique identification of the version of the military equipment.

Photo-realistic textures contain maximum of details for the realistic model look.

Models include

levels of detail (LOD) - models are delivered with the several detail levels which are optimized for the visualization at the specific distance, that improves the application performance

moving parts - models contain the elements with the degrees of freedom (DOF) enabling a movement animation (e.g. a turret rotation, a canon elevation, a wheel rotation etc.)

textures - are delivered in several variants of the resolution. It is possible to create miscellaneous variants of the camouflage patterns for the various environmental conditions. Even textures for infrared spectrum visualization can be created (e.g. to simulate night-vision devices)

variants of the model for its various states (e.g. damage)

Format

As the standard, models are delivered in the OpenFlight format. According the requirements, models can be exported to other formats

textures are delivered in the SGI-RGB format
